Mental Health Awareness Day                         

As part of the Mental Health Awareness Day the children explored the text ‘Have you filled your bucket today?’. They discussed how their positive actions and words can help to make those around them to feel good about themselves. They explored the idea of needing to do something every day that you enjoy and that makes you feel good about yourself. The children also had to think of 5 things about themselves that they are proud of. They displayed their ideas on images of their hands. The children also used drama to explore the a variety of both positive and negative emotions and feelings that we can experience in our every day lives.
